She looked at the policewoman with a surprised look on her face and asked, “It’s me, what’s wrong?”
The policewoman continued, “Let me check your personal information with you, you are Ma Lan from Jinling, China, and you are going to take Cathay Pacific flight cx845 from New York to Hong Kong Island this time, right?”
“Right ……” Ma Lan was even more puzzled and asked in disbelief, “What’s wrong with my flight?”
The policewoman said in a cold voice, “There’s no problem with the flight, but there is a problem with your luggage! Please come with us and a*sist in the investigation.”
Ma Lan said, “What could be wrong with my luggage? It was all New York souvenirs except for personal clothes, I didn’t put any lithium batteries or anything like that in there ……”
The policewoman snorted coldly, “Don’t make unnecessary sophistry, there are other pa*sengers here, in order not to affect other people’s flight, please come with me voluntarily.”
With that, she pulled the handcuffs from her waist and warned, “Listen carefully to what I say, you have the right to remain silent, otherwise anything you say may be used as evidence against you, you have the right to have a lawyer present at your trial, if you can’t afford one, we will appoint one for you, do you understand these rights?”
Marashi panicked and blurted out, “What the hell! I am a distinguished first cla*s pa*senger! Who gave you the audacity to come here and arrest me? Besides, what law have I broken?”
The policewoman said coldly, “Maran, as an ethnic Chinese, I warn you kindly that this is America! Don’t try any kind of resistance here, or you will be the one who suffers!”
Ma Lan said angrily, “Don’t give me that sh*t, I’m not afraid to sit up and act right! I’m not afraid of you cops anywhere I go, not to mention the United States, even if it’s the United Nations! I don’t even call myself Maran if I frown!”
The policewoman had obviously lost her patience, so she took out her handcuffs and said in a stern voice: “Marashi! I am asking you to turn around and put your hands behind your back, you must not resist or run away, otherwise my colleagues may use instruments on you, including but not limited to electric shock tasers, you better cooperate!”
Seeing that a number of people were milling around, Marashi felt that his face as a distinguished guest of the first cla*s cabin was instantly lost.
Her anger went wild, causing her to yell at the top of her lungs, “I’m telling you, don’t mess with me like this! I didn’t spend all this money on a first cla*s ticket just to be P*ssed off at you American cops! I’m about to board a plane back to my country, so get the hell out of my way and don’t delay my trip!”
The policewoman shook her head helplessly when she saw Maran’s obstinacy and said to the two white male policemen beside her, “Take her away!”
The two policemen had been listening to Marashi for half a day, and although they didn’t know what she was talking about, they could see that she was very arrogant, and they had been preparing to take action.
One of them grabbed Marashi and threw her onto the wool carpet in the first cla*s lounge in a hug.
The other officer rushed forward and grabbed Marashi’s hair with one hand and yanked him backwards, causing him to scream in pain, but he didn’t care and pressed his knee into Marashi’s back, pinning him to the ground.
Another of his colleagues immediately put both of Marashi’s hands behind his back and handcuffed him to the ground.
Marashi screamed in pain and shouted at the top of his lungs, “Murder! The American police are killing people! Somebody help!”
The white policeman, who had Marashi on one knee, cursed, “Hey, youshutthef*ckup!”
At least Marashi had gone to university and could hear that the white policeman was cursing at her and telling her to shut up.
She gritted her teeth and cursed, “I can put up with you if you tell me to shut up, but you’re still f*cking with me? Who are you f*cking with? You’re so f*cked up! Listen to me, i’myourmother! Howdareyou! Watch your mouth, I tell you!”
