As she said these words, Ito Nayoko was very unsure in her heart.
She felt that in today’s society, keeping a hand in everything was already the norm, and even in ordinary martial arts, it was impossible for any sect or family to inform others of their own mind techniques, let alone this higher level of cultivation.
However, she still wanted to give it a try, because she felt that since Venerable Master Jing Qing had told her so much, perhaps he would be willing to say a little bit more to open her eyes.
Venerable Master Jing Qing took a deep breath at this time, and couldn’t help but sigh, “Shi master has a heavenly talent, the poor monk can’t sit back and watch Shi master’s talent be buried and wasted, in fact, Shi master has already basically found the key to enlightenment, but the only step that was done wrong is that Shi master shouldn’t have tried to rely on a vertical leap to let the divine sense enter the Sea of Consciousness after heading towards a high place, by relying on such a method, it is not possible to enter the Sea of Consciousness. ”
Nai Nai Zi hurriedly pursued, “Then how should one be able to enter the Sea of Consciousness?”
Venerable Jing Qing said word for word, “Let in the Divine Consciousness to integrate!”
“Integrate?!” Nai Nanako exclaimed, “Could it be that my divine sense is to be allowed to merge with that sea of consciousness?!”
“That’s right!” Venerable Master Jing Qing nodded, seriously said, “Shi master, the so-called sea of consciousness, such as the poor monk said that the universe, Shi master if you take their own divine sense as yourself, it is the same as a person leaping into a sea, the ocean is vast and boundless, but people can perceive, but is around ten feet, dozens of feet away, only the integration of the divine sense into the sea of consciousness, the divine sense in order to control the entire sea of consciousness, so that the entire sea of consciousness are like a globe, intuitively presented in front of one’s eyes;”
“Therefore, the master should not enter that sea of consciousness with the subjective consciousness of the so-called ‘I’, but abandon the definition of self in the divine consciousness, and at the moment of the leap, let go of all self, and allow the divine consciousness to completely enter the state of egolessness, and when the egoless divine consciousness is completely fused with the sea of consciousness, then it is the success of the enlightenment of the Way! ”
Although Nai Nai Zi understood what Venerable Jing Qing was saying, she didn’t know what the true meaning of the “no self” realm was.
She felt that the human mind is subjective, and that any time one goes to think about a problem, one is using one’s own mind, so how can one abandon the sense of self from one’s own divine consciousness?
So she asked Venerable Jing Qing, “May I ask Master, how can I become egoless?”
Venerable Master Jing Qing said, “Selflessness, is also the unconscious realm that the Buddha talked about, it is a realm that can only be understood but not expressed, the poor monk back then also didn’t understand how to truly be selfless, and it took a whole eight years before he finally found that realm, so the monk can only rely on himself to slowly try and find it, the poor monk can’t give any good advice or help either. ”
Ito Nayoko wasn’t disappointed, and said with great respect, “Thank you, Master, for your enlightenment, I will do my best to try.”
Venerable Master Jing Qing said, “You can also give it a try now, although the poor monk can’t help you, as an onlooker, he might be able to give you some of the poor monk’s personal advice based on your progress.”
Ito Nayoko hesitated for a moment, gently nodded, and said, “Thank you so much!”
After saying that, she opened her mouth and asked, “Then is it okay if I try it now?”
Venerable Jing Qing stood with one hand on his chest and pointed to the futon below the scripture platform that was designed for disciples to sit cross-legged and said, “Amitabha Buddha, please, monks!”
