Out of millions of people, there might not be one person who possessed the gift of enlightenment, and that kind of person, in his or her entire life, would never be able to achieve enlightenment.
However, for those who possess the gift of enlightenment, enlightenment is actually waiting for an opportunity.
However, enlightenment itself is too esoteric and there are almost no rules to speak of, so it is unknown when those who have the talent for enlightenment will be able to wait for the opportunity to become enlightened.
Venerable Jing Qing thought that if he informed Nayoko Ito of the key to enlightenment, with her talent, she should be able to achieve enlightenment after a year or two of trial and error.
However, he couldn’t imagine that Nanako could successfully achieve enlightenment after two attempts.

Venerable Jing Qing was dumbfounded and muttered, “You are indeed exceedingly gifted, in retrospect, the reason why it took eight years for the poor monk to attain enlightenment, perhaps it was precisely because the poor monk always thought that he had abandoned the seven passions and six desires, but in actuality, he was always deceiving himself and others, and I am afraid that the poor monk’s ability to ultimately succeed in attaining enlightenment wasn’t due to the fact that the poor monk actually attained the realm of the Unconsciousness, perhaps it was just that in a certain moment, the poor monk and the sea of consciousness reached some kind of tacit understanding ……”
Caizi didn’t realise that Venerable Master Jingqing’s Buddhist heart had changed a little, she said very seriously, “Perhaps Master has made some deviation in understanding the direction of enlightenment, although the Violet Mansion and the Sea of Consciousness, are described in both Buddhism and Taoism, enlightenment is after all the realm of a cultivator, the idea of Buddhism is ‘no self ‘ and the idea of Taoism is ‘true self’, it is originally one south and one north, one left and one right, and for Master to use the theory of Buddhism to solve the problems of cultivation is perhaps in itself putting the cart before the horse, or putting Zhang Guan Li Dai.”
