He is not a stupid person, naturally know that this is Ito Nayoko’s way of rejecting himself, heart regret at the same time, also can not help but introspection: “I only think that the monk’s wisdom is extraordinary, if you are willing to convert to Buddhism, study the classics, will be able to have a deeper understanding of the classics, if so, is the well-being of all the believers, but the matter, in the end, is my wishful thinking! ……”
When he thought of this, he sighed again and again in the bottom of his heart: “Sin sin sin sin, madam let me come to help her to open up the enlightenment, I even bent on persuading her to convert to the Buddha’s door ……”
Thus, he then silently recited a few verses, and then spoke, “Monk, just now it was the poor monk who spoke too much, I hope you will forgive me.”
Ito Nayoko gently nodded, “It doesn’t matter, as long as you don’t persuade me to become a monk again.”
Saying that, Ito Nayoko took out the brocade pouch in her pocket and carefully asked, “Master, I wonder if you can still open and enchant an amulet for me?”
Venerable Master Jing Qing nodded and asked her, “Does the Scholar want to copy the Prajna Paramita Heart Sutra by hand herself?”
“Yes.” Nai Nai Zi took out the paper and pen given by the young monk earlier again and spoke, “Can I copy it here?”
“Of course.” Venerable Jing Qing pointed to a bookcase under the scripture platform and said, “Scholar please copy the scriptures in front of the bookcase.”
Nai Nai Zi nodded her head and thanked her, then she went to the bookcase, placed the palm-sized paper in front of the bookcase, and wrote the ten characters of the Mahabharata Paramita Heart Sutra on the paper with a slender brush.
Venerable Jing Qing stood by the side and watched silently, seeing Nanako’s brush strokes, he could not help but marvel in his heart, he did not expect that this young Japanese girl, actually had a good hand at writing.
Seeing that Naoko started to handwrite the sutra, and there was not the slightest stutter in her hand, Venerable Jing Qing knew that Naoko must have read the sutra well, and had already learnt the content of the sutra by heart.
When Nai Nai Zi had finished writing all two hundred and sixty characters of the Heart Sutra, she slowly put the pen down, and Venerable Jing Qing, who was at the side, spoke up and asked, “Since you are familiar with the Heart Sutra, I wonder if you have ever tried to follow the scripture’s teachings to explore the ‘Unconscious Realm’ that is mentioned in the scripture? ”
Nayoko curiously asked, “Are you talking about the unconscious realm in the scripture ‘No eyes, ears, nose, tongue, body, mind, no colour, sound, scent, or touch, no eye realm, and even the unconscious realm’?”
Venerable Jing Qing nodded and said earnestly, “No eyes, ears, nose, tongue, body, mind, no colour, sound, scent, or touch means that there are no six roots and six dusts, and no six consciousnesses arising from the six dusts to the six roots, and that there is no longer any need to look at the boundaries of what is visible to the eye or to cling to feeling the dharmas of the eighteen realms that are the combination of the six roots, the six dusts, and the six consciousnesses, and that in this way, one can be clear of the six roots, untainted by a single dust, free of all thoughts, and empty of all dharmas. ”
Nanako asked in confusion, “That is to be like a statue of Buddha, not thinking about anything?”
Venerable Jing Qing shook his head and said, “That is not the case, back then, the poor monk also thought that the true emptiness of all dharmas was to abandon all attachments and falsehoods, but later, after being instructed by an Enlightened Teacher, he realised that in fact, the emptiness of all dharmas can be understood in a different way.”
Nai Nai Zi was even more puzzled, “Since it is that all dharmas are empty, since everything does not exist, what other explanation is there?”
